RELIEF PRINTING PROCESS

In relief printing, the surface of the printing block, gives the image. The areas which are not to be printed are cut away and the remaining shapes and lines are then inked. The block is then placed on a press with the paper on top, and run through the press.

The lino block prints on my website have from 3 to 8 colors. This means that after each color run, I recarve the block and print again with a different ink.
